Would An X-ray Show Lung Or Male Breast Cancer?
Hi,
Would a Normal x-ray of the chest and back show lung or male breast cancer? I’m worried I have one.

Breast cancer is breast cancer whether the patient is a male or a female and it would not show on a chest x-ray unless it was very advanced. Lung cancer usually shows up on a chest x-ray.

The x-ray could show something that would warrant further testing, like a mammogram or chest CT. But there are no guarantees, so if you do suspect something, talk to your doctor about ordering the appropriate tests.

i would go and tell your doctor and he will recommend either an ex ray or blood tests or perhaps even a mrsi scan. he will know what to recommend and they will tell you the result and put your mind at rest
