Women, does breast cancer ever concern you at all?
Question by Yaha: Women, does breast cancer ever concern you at all?
I’m NOT trying to like scare you here or anything. But recently, in where I live, a number of women have been victimized by breast cancer unfortunately. And these are all relatively young women in there late 30s and early 40s. Do any of you at all think about breast cancer at all?

I don’t think about it that much. I’m still in my 20′s.

It concerns me to an extent. I take vitamins that support bone and breast health, so I hope that helps me

Yep. My grandmother had it. But with 3/4 grandparents having cancer it scares me no matter where it is.

Not really, it does not run in my family so I’m not that concerned with it…oh yeah & I’m 21…

I question why no oncologist or radiologist were on the panel when discussing limiting preventive care for cancer. Why were the experts not involved?

I don’t believe I am genetically predisposed to it, but I had a very sweet aunt that suffered from it for a long time before passing away. I will probably be more proactive about checking myself as I get older. I’m sorry for those who have to suffer through it.

I don’t worry about it much. It is something that runs in families, and there is literally none in mine. But it’s something to keep in mind anyways; as I age, I plan on getting screenings regularly and doing self-exams.

No. I have a family history but still don’t worry about it much. Maybe I should. I’m only 21 though
