When Auditioning For Beauty And The Beast, What Song Should I Sing For Belle?
I’m auditioning for Belle for our school musical.
The director will probably choose a song for us, but what songs would be good to have prepared?

either Something There
or A Change in Me
i especially love the second one because it shows a lot of
range and personality

Can’t believe no one has said Home yet. Home is extremely important in that its Belle’s real power number. Its good to have if you want to show off the strength of your voice.
And A Change in Me is good too, because it’s pretty much the polar opposite of Home in terms of dynamics. Home is big and powerful, and A Change in Me is a soft, pretty ballad.

okay, so in my opinion there are three songs you really have to nail in this show, Be Our Guest, Belle, and Beauty and the Beast. So, since Belle doesn’t sing Be Our Guest, and Beauty and the Beast is a duet/ Chorus number… I would suggest Belle
