There are no set standards of beauty as far as waist measurements are concerned. The experts say that your bust and hips should be at least ten inches larger than your waist, but that’s only an opinion or an average figure. A few generations ago, women used to lace themselves up in tight corsets to give the appearance of a tiny waist. This was not only uncomfortable, but damaging to their health. If your bust and hips are around 35 inches, your waist measurement should probably be 25 or 26 inches, but if it’s smaller or larger, you’re still considered to be among the average for your height and weight, which are okay.

Don’t get caught up in this. You are fine. This is the sort of thinking that gets people thinking so badly about themselve. It isn’t worth it. I look back on pictures where I thought I was so heavy and now I say “what was I thinking of?!”

women should come in all shapes and sizes. it would be boring if you all looked the same. somedays i prefer very skinny girls, other days i want someone chubby. who cares what the norm is. be yourself.
