What Is The Foundational Element Of “beauty”?….?
I realizes that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It seems that there are”clusters of perceptions, people of “like mind” who’s taste extend from, let say, hard medal music to classical music Gothic art ( preference to that life style) to modern art, even your favorite color. It has been my observation that there is a commonality in “persona” for the different taste. Where does this come from? our stage of spiritual growth or collectiveness of …, environment, generational influence etc…. Take care, Hector

Buenas noches Hector….
Well…. Your Beauty Element is Air You’re quirky, fresh, and fashionable in a surprising way.
You have a beauty that’s all your own, and it changes as quickly as the wind!
Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy. The words that enlighten the soul are more precious than jewels. The ability to see beauty is the beginning of our moral sensibility. What we believe is beautiful we will not wantonly destroy. But….basically I think:
What you do, the way you think, makes you beautiful.
I never saw an ugly thing in my life: for let the form of an object be what it may – light, shade, and perspective will always make it beautiful. Or…as the great Markus Anthony described it:
Whatever is in any way beautiful hath its source of beauty in itself, and is complete in itself; praise forms no part of it. So it is none the worse nor the better for being praised.
Marcus Aurelius Antoninus (121 AD – 180 AD), Meditations
I am leaving you with my all time favorite quote from Oscar winner Salma Hayek, who said what you initiated in the beginning:
People often say that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder,’ and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside ourselves.
Salma Hayek
I hope someone else will come to your “rescue” in getting a bit “deeper” on the explanation….foundation…ad essence of beauty….because to me “Beauty just IS”…whether it’s a sunset…a pretty flower…a children’s laugh….whatever….there is soooo MUCH beauty in the world the “average John Doe” overlooks…-smile- I find soooo much beauty in your compositions….because it inspires me daily….Send you all my love & care….your friend…Annette***

apparently there are a very small amount of people who can taste sounds , or is it that they hear colors , I’m not sure but the thing is that they would have a problem with conventional beauty , but their need for the reward of something beautiful would be just as important as yours and mine . so it’s not only in the eye of the beholder but it is also a part of the heart , and probably flows in the blood , so it would be a part of life itself . with every beat of the heart , you could notice yourself inching closer toward the object of your desire , what ever it is that you desire , and the object of that desire could be considerd beautifull ,at least to that person . but life flows threw the vains on an individual basis , we are fed by forces not just food .

Life.
Without life, we wouldn’t be able to see, feel, hear, communicate etc…
So, the main element of “Beauty” is Life.

Quality that gives pleasure to the mind or senses according to the dictionary.
But it can be presented in many different ways.
Check Leonardo’s Divine Proportion and Vitruvious.

I once got a medal for a talent show. It made me like medal music.
It takes different strokes for different folks.
