You have asked a question that can’t be answered unless we know more about you. The amount of weight you lose is based on how much overweight you were to start, did you have to go through a preparatory diet prior to the surgery, your physical limitations, etc.
I belong to a Yahoo group called Weight Loss Surgery Friendship & Support. There is a wide range of changes in the first 6 months from three ladies who lost over 100 lbs to three others who have lost about 55 lbs. Do not try to compare yourself to others. You know whether you have followed the rules concerning fluids, protein, vtatmins, support system and exercise. Be sure to just do as prescribed by your surgeon and nutritionist.
If you are not happy with your current online support group, or if you have no support group at all, please come join ours. We are very open and willing to give you any support we can from our experiences. Good Luck!

I’ve read on several books about it and it depends. Some people may lose 30 kg in a few months, others can lose more, like 45. The weight loss varies in people.
