What Exactly Is Stage 3b Cervical Cancer N How Did I Get It? I Have Been Celebate Since 04′, By Choice!?
I need more info. on cervical cancer; stage 3B…wht xactly does tht mean? I’ve stopped all treatmnts, does the cancer go away if I strt eating healthy NOW? Thnkx

Oh sweety, are you for real? Im not understanding alot from your question. You seem very confused and all over the place. Now cancer has stages. This is graded accordingly and are put in place so that medics or others know how bad your prognosis is according to the grade.
Now Stage 3b cervical cancer is not good at all. First and foremost, it is cancer. Cancer needs prescription medication. Possibly chemo, radiotherapy etc. Eating healthy wont help that. Its not a preventative or a cure for cancer. Although being obese increases your risk of cancer it does not prevent it. (I say that but research is being carried out to see whether certain foods do have a protective effect on cancer).
I cant believe you have stopped treatments and that your consultants have not explained to you the importance of all of this.
Now, to answer your question. Cervical cancer are staged by Figo stages. Figo stages is a description of the stage of the disease (determined by surgical and pathological findings). So for cervical cancer, there are Figo stages 1, 1a1, 1a2 etc all the way to figo stage B. The higher the Figo stage, the worse the prognosis and chance of survival.
Now stage 3B means that the tumour extends to pelvic wall or causes hydronephrosis or non-functioning kidney. So this means that it is not confined to the cervix alone but has spread.
This is why i find it hard to believe that think diet can prevent cancer and that you can cure this by stopping treatment and eat healthy.
I cant believe your consultants have not educated you enough about this.
Being celebate doesnt matter to cervical cancer. If you have been exposed to the HPV virus then you have increased your risk. HPV is transmitted through skin to skin contact so really condoms and things wont work but will prevent other STIs and pregnancy so keep using them. Go sort yourself out quick!

go back to the doctor and talk to him! the internet will freak you out and fill your mind with what you REALLY dont need right now!!! don’t even look it up!!! please. go back and talk to your doctor and if you dont feel comfortable with him then you talk to another and another one untill you’re okay and happy with this doctor AND get a second opinion even if you are okay with this doctor. he really should have spoke with you more about it but i am sure you were shocked and didnt have many questions at the time. and also, call a friend or family member and go spend some time with them so you don’t go crazy by yourself wondering whats going on. good luck and take care

I think it means this is a joke and not a real cancer, as there is no stage 3B cervical cancer. What you eat wouldn’t affect it and if you are celibate, whether you are sure it is by choice or not, has nothing to do with it. Anyone who had an advance cancer and started treatment would know how serious this is.

You’re joking right? Cancer only goes away with treatment. I don’t know what the common cervical cancer protocols are, but they likely include surgery and chemotherapy, especially in a Stage 3 scenario.
Celibacy really has nothing to do with it.
