    A girl in my class has a twin and two sets of brother and sister twins. There are 6 of them, all twins…but none are identical. They all really look alike though!

    one of my great aunts has had two sets of identical twins one set of boys and one set of girls. The girls were premmature and died. Theres not alot ot the story other than my great aunt and uncle are Mennonite and had about 15 kids.

    Wow, three sets of identicals would be pretty amazing. Generally those with twins have more likelihood of having twins again. Some people are also genetically predisposed to having twins (based on the baby’s mom – dad has no effect). Either they have weak eggs that split or more commonly they release more than one egg each time.
    It has never happened to anyone I know but it does definately happen.
