My dad quit smoking at 40 and developed lung cancer at 82 (and beat it with a hard fight – he is still alive and pretty healthy 2 years later).

Stop now and you have a chance of a longer lifespan. People are living longer and with a healthy lifestyle you could too.

By the way, his relatives who kept smoking all died much younger – from heart disease.

Hmm interesting, she must have a fire moon sign because water signs are pretty non vicious and sensitive. Maybe you should talk to her about it or maybe something happened in the past that she carrys with her, water signs are sensitive and can hold grudges for years. Cancer women are known to be very protective and revengful when it comes to their family. Maybe she thinks you are harmly her brother or she got a wrong idea. Anyways, communication is key. Cancer women are mostly nice until you mess with their family, however they are not stubborn or unforgiving.

Just talk to her.

Question by Megan H: HPV and anal cancer in women?
I have HPV and it has caused precancerous changes on my cervix and my doc is doing routine check-ups to make sure that it doesn’t progress to cervical cancer. I was wondering though that since I have had anal sex, does it mean that i’m at risk for anal cancer as well and what do i do if this is the case?

the virus has been liked to certain types of cervical cancer. you probably just had an abnormal pap. you can’t get anal cancer from anal sex, but you can spread the hpv easily even if you don’t have any sores. your doctor will probably just want to do your routine paps more often then once a year, maybe every 6 mths or possibly more often just to keep a close eye on you. it’s pretty common so don’t worry too much.

It was once thought that women were the weaker sex – at least in their ability to deal with tobacco carcinogens. A recent study bashed that theory; women smokers are no more likely to develop lung cancer than men who smoke. Yet, there are many differences in the way men and women develop – and respond to treatment for – lung cancer.
