I’m Having A Pink Party To Raise Money For Breast Cancer Any Ideas On Food And Activities For The Day?
I appreciate you doing this… my mom is a survivor. maybe see if you can find a couple of stylists from a salon to pamper a survivor that may be coming to the party… pedi, mani, makeup, hair… maybe try to find someone to come to dote upon… it will be double for your money… raising money for the cause and blessing some survivors hands on as well.
also… you could prepare a special meal for the survivors as well… have a special table to their honor with candles, etc… serve steaks for them…
see if you can find someone with very long hair that is willing to donate their hair to locks of love and the stylists also can do this at the party… (the more you find to do this the better of course…)
you could serve hostess pink snoballs mmmm (even have a snoball eating contest)
pink peeps (have some sort of contest with these… put one pink in a bowl and cover with whipped cream – have contestants hold their hands behind their back and whoever goes through the whipped cream with their face and eats the peep entirely is the winner – this also can be done with pink bubble gum – whoever blows a bubble first from the buried gum wins)

Vodka Slush (or Bunko Punch)
1 can orange juice concentrate, undiluted
1 46 oz can pineapple juice
1 10 oz jar maraschino cherries (without stems), with juice
2 liters sprite
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 orange juice can of vodka (or to taste – or omit)
Boil the water, remove from heat and dissolve the sugar in the water. Let cool. Combine sugar/water with all other ingredients. Freeze until slush consistency or overnight, thawing to slush consistency. D-d-d-d-d-delicious…………….

Talent Show
People love to participate in a talent show, or watch their kids perform. Not only can you sell tickets, you can sell things during the intermission – donated items from local store are great!
Fashion Show
A variation on the talent show is a fashion show. Ask retailers in your area to participate by showing their latest clothing line with models you supply. Again, have donated items for sale during the intermission, or have people bid on the outfits modeled. Either you pay the retailer the cost of the clothes and keep whatever is above the costs, or ask the retailer to totally donate the clothing.
Have A Supper Event
Have a spaghetti, sloppy joes, pancake, chili, whatever supper. Take an ad out in the local paper or even on the local TV station.
Spud Night is variation on that theme. Have a table setup with everything you could possibly want on a baked potato. Either have volunteers add the toppings or allow people to help themselves. Offer to let them eat it there, or wrap to take home.
Car Wash
Have kids supervised by adults, washing cars that come to your event for a donation. Attach a pink ribbon to the car’s antenna or door handle as a symbol of their having participated. Make it known that cars with the ribbon have participated!
You could also bill it as a car wash, cold drink. While people wait in the shade on picnic table with a cold drink, you have people washing their cars and cleaning them inside and out.
Food
KEEP IT SIMPLE! If this is happening outside, you don’t want any cases of food poisoning. It’s safer to keep it so that whatever you are selling doesn’t require heating. If you are selling watermelon slices, cold drinks, etc., keep it COLD and CLEAN!!!
Rent a popcorn or cotton candy machine. The yummy smells will bring people to the stand. Make sure to have plenty of napkins and garbage containers.
Auction Off Husbands
Auction off husbands for a few hours or a day to do chores for people.
World’s Largest Campout
Have a campout at a city park. Get permission or whatever you need to get from your city. Have a central bonfire and keep it going all night with weinie roasts, marshmallows, S’mores, popcorn, peanuts, soda (no alchohol!), ghost stories or just stories that anyone can tell with a microhone (children suitable), sing-a-longs, etc.
Movie Night
Show a movie against a building. Sell refreshments.
Scavenger Hunt
Organize a scavenger hunt. Ask local businesses to donate prizes and have the top five winners pictures put in the local paper. Or a list of the names of all the participants. Charge so much per person to participate.
WHATEVER YOU DO, USE PINK RIBBONS TO WRAP OBJECTS, TIE THEM ON THINGS, HAVE PEOPLE WEAR THEM AND HAND THEM OUT. PINK IS THE REASON!

Something with lots of garlic in it comes to mind… like whole wheat bread with real fresh garlic…
I take a whole clove of fresh garlic every day… why? because it’s the best thing for healthy bodies
Forgive me, please, for this outburst….. but PLEASE pay attention to it!!!
Do some research on foods that heal… Have foods that fight and heal cancer… This is one thing the FDA DOESN’T WANT YOU TO KNOW!!! There ARE foods out there that will eat up and destroy those cancer cells… and totally rid the body of it!!!!! I know this for a FACT!
A doctor ended up in jail because he gave a woman this information and cured her of the cancer she was supposed to die from… the FDA says that he “didn’t go by their protocal!!!” meaning to give her the medicines that THEY wanted her to have… that would, in the end destroy her liver!!!!! They put him in jail for it! If they can do that… doesn’t it prove that they are just out to make money and NOT heal? The medicines they give out cost so much, and only heal the SYMTOMS! not the cause….
God created herbs and veggies specifically for “the healing of the nations”. So, I ask you this: Why does man NOT use them???!!!!!
