I’m Getting My First Cervical Cancer Shot (for Hpv). Could I Continue Practicing For Cheer 4 Hours After That?

On Monday, I’m getting a cervical cancer shot at 10:45am.
I heard it is sore after a couple days.
On the same Monday, is when mandatory cheer practice starts. And it starts at 3pm.
So should I sit out and not practice, or continue?
(Cheer requires to tighten your arms, and we also might be stunting.)

You’ll be fine! The more you move your arms, the less sore it will be. Just as in any other muscle pain…more blood flow = more healing = less soreness. Injections hurt for a little while, but if you’ve been cheerleading, I’m sure you’ve been more sore from stretching, stunting, tumbling, and dancing. Get out there and have a blast!
