I Would Like To Know If There Are Any Third Stage Breast Cancer Survivors Out There?

Me (so far)…..47.5 year old male diagnosed with breast cancer 2.5 years ago. By the time of diagnosis it had spread to the bones on opposite side, 7.5 inch wide tumor (chem and radiation shrunk it to about 4), 23 months after surgery I’m still here (9 lymph nodes taken out then all cancerous). It will kill me in the end but it’s taking its own sweet time.
Hope you are doing ok

I’m stage IV breast cancer and I have decided to get on with my life while I can. I cried a lot initially, but now since medicine cannot do much more I am taking a brighter attitude and getting together with friends and families, including trips.

I had stage three grade 3 breast cancer; over four years after diagnosis I am fit and well with no sign of cancer at my last routine check-up.
I had mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
If there’s anything you’d like to ask, email me

I’m not sure what stage I am, had BC 3 times. If I have any axial nodes left it’s not for lack of the surgeons trying to get them out. Breasts gone too. I’m 62 and have some stuff left to do, about 30 years worth I figure.
try breastcancer.org they have lots of members at various stages.

stage 3-b breast cancer. nine lymph nodes were removed no clear margins. unable to remove any more nodes due to cutting muscle and nerves. on tamoxifen to keep cancer from spreading any further. was told that i would eventually die from this but not tomorrow. plan on living a long time. who knows!
