I Just Read In A Health Magazine That Before Getting Pregnant, Women Should Do A Body Cleanse. Is This True?
Is this recommended or could it do more harm then good?

Well I have four children that are extremely healthy and I have never done one. I just made sure that I ate right, took my vitamins and got plenty of exercise; all my children were on time and I had super easy pregnancies. I’m not sure if it’s true or not, but once in a while it’s good to clean out your system. IF you are worried about your child’s development some things cannot be helped and some things can be. You need to make sure to talk to your doctor about your family history and make sure you really take care of yourself. The doctor can give you the proper advice for your genetics. Hope this is helpful!

This is not a must. In fact this is the first time I hear that and I am already the mother of two children. Here is a source where you can find more: http://www.myhealth-forum.com/

I’m betting that was an advertisement for a body cleanse. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a health professional suggest it.
