I Have A Debate About Whats More Important: Inner Or Outer Beauty?
And i’m for inner beauty being more important. But there’s one argument that I know the people who are against me will say and its : when you first meet someone, you judge them by their appearance automatically- so outer beauty is important because it plays a strong role in first impressions.
What counter-argument can I use when they say this?
Thanks for your help!

Judging someone purely on outward appearance is shallow and superficial. This is quite common for people who have not fully developed relationship skills. Strong relationship skills usually come with wisdom and age — thus the saying by many older individuals who know better: “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. So true — especially with determining inner and outer beauty.

i agree with ma mother Ash…first impressions don’t last long….think about the inner beauty..well ask your self..you’re a woman..you come across a man..who looks as hideous as an Elephant man, but after a while his manner, his deeds, his charm, his uniqueness overwhelms ya, and you can almost compare it with Jesus….everything nice..and one thing comes in your mind..that “if this man was normal” you would” have married him”….(considering your preference as straight)…
but you would love to keep him as a “friend”…
lisie…it takes great self-maturity to over come “the outer beauty syndrome”
