Has Anyone Heard Announcement About The Dramatic Decrease (7%) In Breast Cancer Since Hormone Replacement?

therapy was shown to cause cancer several years ago? At that time, women were discouraged from taking it during menopause because there were fears of cancer. Since then, breast cancer cases have decreased by 7%. What are your thoughts about this? Are the hormones in hormone replacement therapy medications the same as those in birth control pills?

Ye sI heard about it. No birth control pills are not the same thing. Hormone replacement is done during menopause

No, and actually medical evidence shows that there may be a link between the incidence of breast cancer and hormone therapy. As doctors we’re taught NOT to prescribe hormone therapy to postmenopausal women who have increased risks of breast cancer. Actually, the only time hormone therapy is advised is during menopause only to alleviate hot flash and other systemic symptoms.
