The chances of breast cancer at your age are almost nil; the chances of breast cancer in both breasts are even lower - it would be one for the medical journals.

Breast cancer is almost unknown in under 25s and fewer than 0.1% of those diagnosed are under 30. Only 5% are under 40 and most (80%) are over 50.

I was classed as 'young' when I was diagnosed - I was 50.

Most breast lumps, even in women over 50, aren't cancerous and many women have naturally lumpy breasts.

I suggest you mention it to your doctor next time you visit her/him, for reassurance.

Given your age and the fact that this is occuring in both breasts it is highly unlikely to be cancer, but get it checked by a Dr to set your mind at rest and obtain treatment if necessary.

Just because it is unlikely to be cancer does not mean it won't need treatment.

Hello Lust:

From your description I would suggest you go see a doctor
and ask for a ultrasound of the breast to be able to tell what
is wrong. As a rule we don't get breast cancer at young ages
but there are a few cases every year that are not the average.
and if it is not going away with you cycle changes. than it
should be checked out by the doctor.
I am not trying to alarm you at all but it does need to be
checked out as soon as possible.

I wish you good health.

It’s most likely hormonal. Breast cancer rarely occurs in young people 75% are postmenopausal. 1 in every 1 million girls 15-19 years old are diagnosed with breast cancer. It is also very rare to occur in both breasts at the same time. If it bothers you tell your mom and see if she’ll take you to a doctor or bring it up at your next appointment.

You need to see a doctor, and right away. No one here will really be able to tell you for sure. It's likely cysts but you need a professional to evaluate this and possibly have a biopsy done. Since your not 18 yet you need to speak to your parents about getting a doctors appointment right away. God Bless.

It could just be a cyst, but you should definitely go to the doctors. They can tell you what it is for sure.
