Do these symptoms correlate with Ovarian or Uterine Cancer?

I have had symptoms for the past two months that mirror a UTI.
Lower Back Pain
Pelvic Fullness
Urinary Urgency and Frequency
Stinging and Burning when voiding
And sometimes not having much urine to match the urgency.

My doctor put me on a week of antibiotics and everything seemed to be cleared up for all of two days.
So I started another weeks course of another antibiotics.

The problem is I am halfway through my second course of Antibiotics and I’m not feeling much relief.

In fact I now have leg pain, pelvic pain opposed to just pressure and pain with orgasm.

So of course I’m worried I have ovarian or uterine cancer.

I’m 18 by the way and not sexually active…
The antibiotics the one that I am on now is Bactrim
Sulfamethoxazole – Trimethoprim

I have no clue about the other one though, I cannot even remember the name.

I have no idea, other than to say that at your age, either of these cancers would be a total statistical rarity.

What kind of doc? If he’s not an ob/gyn, you might have fibroids, which are benign but can get quite large and wreak all kinds of havoc.

Also, I assume with all these antibiotics you’ve been given a CBC? If the white cell count indicates an infection, then it’s probably not fibroids, but the fact that it’s not responding is why I asked.

There is no way that anyone here can tell you what this is . .you need to go back to your doctor and insist on a diagnosis . . keep after them . . the antibiotic should have worked by now . . so call and tell him about that . .he may want to run additional tests to rule things out . be persistent . . unfortunately there are other types of cancer besides ovarian or uterine . . and at this point in time cancer cannot be ruled out. Your doctor is operating under the assumption that cancer is rare in your age group and is trying to solve the problem by trying out the more common treatments first (antibiotic) . . . the more you complain the more tests he will run until you have a diagnosis. Be persistent . . if this is cancer than you need to know as soon as possible . .if it isn’t cancer . .than you still need to know in order to be treated adequately.

    Good luck.

Probably, at your age, a benign cyst. It too can cause all of those symptoms.
