Do I Have Male Breast Cancer?
I am a 16 year old male, Im a little overweight and I have this hard lump a little behind and above my left nipple. I think I might have male breast cancer or something. BUT their is no nipple discharge and its pretty painful when hit. In fact it keeps getting hit over and over so I can’t see if its going away or not. Any ideas on what it could be?

Breast lumps are common in teenage / adolescent males. The lumps are almost always due to hormonal changes, and for the most part they go away on their own. These breast lumps are referred to as gynecomastia. Most of these lumps are followed by a pediatrician. If the lump has unusual physical characteristics, if it becomes a cosmetic problem, or there are concerns from the parents or patient, these patients are often referred to a breast surgeon. In select cases, surgical removal of the lump is appropriate. In most cases, however, the lump will slowly resolve on its own.

Breast cancer is breast cancer whether is happens in a male or a female. There is 1.3 in every 1 million 15-19 year old girls diagnosed with breast cancer. If there are any males in this age group at all the numbers are too small to keep track of. What you are describing is normal for your age,

it is probably nothing …..
If I thought I had cancer, here is what I would do:
(I could give you a very long, tedious, boring explanation …. or you could just trust me with this)
go to Whole Foods Market (google it) and get BIO-K PLUS. They keep it where the vitamins are, inside a refrigerated case. It has a green label … that is the one I would use as it is a little stronger than the other flavored ones.
take it home in an ice chest and make sure it stays cold until the very moment you take it. It is a very small little bottle, and you take it very last thing before you go to bed each night. I would suggest you take it for the next 90 days even though you will feel better in 8 hours (yup … 8 hours).
it is not the best tasting …. but who cares …. it works!
