Yes. I actually learned this the hard way. I had a dog once that developed it. I never bred her and she wasn’t spayed until later in life. By the time I had her spayed she had already developed the cancer. Spaying her helped to slow down the cancer, but I learned that if you don’t plan on breeding a dog please have it fixed asap.
