One has nothing to do with the other. I think your friend may be right, a boil. Those hurt really bad. My tumors were painful but they were not under my armpit. Now, almost everyone that answers this will tell you that breast tumors have no pain. This is true for the majority, but not for me. I had terrible pain with my tumor.
